Rev. Henry Thomas, Jr., a native Houstonian is the founding  Pastor of True Fellowship Baptist Church in Katy,   TX. He demonstrated very early in his life  the God-given call to see the believing body impact the world with the love of  Christ Jesus. This still serves today as the foundation for his ministry  philosophy. He excelled in the public school system graduating in the top of  half of his class. Rev. Thomas then attended Prairie   View A & M University  where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music, thus launching his  career as a High School Band Director in the Houston Independent School District.

Upon receiving his call to ministry, Pastor Thomas began his  faith journey by relocating to Dallas, TX,  to receive formal training in theological studies at Dallas Theological Seminary.  There he graduated with a Masters Degree in Theology with emphasis in Bible Exposition  and Christian Education.

Rev. Thomas has been privileged to serve the body in various  capacities. His diverse preaching and teaching schedule has included:  Instructor, J. Lee Foster School of Biblical Studies; Adjunct Professor, College of Biblical Studies;  Instructor, Houston Institute for Biblical Development; and Spiritual Formation Facilitator, Dallas  Theological Seminary. He has also served in staff ministry in Christian Education  & Discipleship, Evangelism and Outreach and Youth Ministry.

During his tenure in ministry, Rev. Thomas has been called  upon to facilitate various conferences and workshops as well as proclaim God’s  word in various settings. Pastor Thomas has also received Biblical instruction  internationally. Because of God’s grace, Pastor Thomas’ life long mission is to  advance the kingdom of God  by assisting the believing body in maximizing their personal potential in Jesus  Christ.

Pastor Thomas resides in Katy,  TX with his wife Felicia and sons, Jeremiah, Henry III, Aaron, and Jonathon.
